SCALA Outrigger OC-1
  • The SCALA is a purebred sprint OC1, the latest in OC design..The Scala is designed as a sit-in with a cockpit. It has a very sleek design, but because of the volume distribution it can handle waves up to 2-3 feet without a sprayskirt. For bigger waves, a sprayskirt can be used
    The auma is a brand new design and is positioned as to clear the stroke area, it is very-very small, but again the volume distribution makes it very effective.
    Both iakus are behind the seat to ensure that the bow line is unbroken, the forward reach is not restricted and there is no waves splashing against iakus and iaku adapter.
    The SCALA comes with adjustable seat (height and back and forth) and adjustable footboards and foot braces. Extremely strong and reliable construction in four layups with weight ranging from 42 lbs for the Standard to 22 for the Ultralight.

Extremely strong construction, ideal for club use and time trials for dragonboat teams... with weight ranging from 48 lbs for the Standard to 28 labs for the Ultralight
