Construction Technology System

Ultralight Composite has acquired technology that uses vibration together with vacuming for maximum resin penetration into the kevlar/carbon/seftex and glass. A specially built roller apply the resin during the layup. The roller vibrates and pushes the resin more effectively among the texture of the fibers, wetting them so thoroughly that no dry areas (resulting in soft spots) are left. Vacum bagging then further distribute resins. This process produces very light and rigid hulls.

Seating System

| The seating system is designed for a no-tool quick
set-up.
The sprint boats seating
system is designed to be flexible and easy to change. It is of the "platform
based" type with
two "pin based" locking points the back and with a a "twist" locking
system in the front.
The seat angle (aft angle)
can also be changed to meet different "high/low
knee position" styles of paddling. The seat is mounted
on aluminum rails: two pair of screws control the seat angle.
To set-up
the seat for a lower knee position just tilt the back of the
seat
up.
This
will
lower the height of the seat's front thus reducing
the pressure on the sciatica nerve and increasing overall
seating comfort.

with full size footrest.
More importantly, for all kayaks, the location of footbrace can be
